Don’t expect so much from anyone or anything. The less expectations, the less disappointments.

Whenever I look for comfort and love, it always seems as though I only find pain and endless tears.

Silence.

If there’s one thing I detest, it’s silence. But not the kind of silence that’s peaceful or tranquil, no. The silence I’m talking about is the type that’s a little too quiet. The silence that’s so quiet that it seems loud. The silence that often occurs in the midst of a fight or an argument. The silence that comes along with the “silence treatment”. The silence that tears you apart and causes your anticipation to consume you from the inside out.
Yeah, that’s the silence that I detest.

I need to get away.

I need to be far away from this house, this city and all the people in it. I need to escape the drama, the screaming, the fighting and all of the negative emotions that come with it. I need to break away and start anew somewhere else.
I just really need to get away from here.

You’re so blinded by arbitrary things that you can’t even see what’s right in front of you. It would be nice if you would open your eyes for once.
